Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Introduction


This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how Chameleon Inflatables handles the delivery and collection of products. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.


2. Collection (Free)


Customers are welcome to collect their products free of charge from our workshop:


Address: 14 Pommery Road, Nietgedacht, Fourways, Gauteng
Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
You will be notified when your order is ready for collection
Please bring your order confirmation or proof of payment

3. Delivery Zones & Pricing


Gauteng Delivery


Flat rate: R350 for deliveries anywhere within Gauteng
Delivery is handled by our own team

Outside Gauteng (National)


Deliveries outside Gauteng are quoted individually based on distance, product size, and weight
We use reliable courier services for nationwide delivery
You will receive a delivery quote before confirming your order

International Delivery


We ship worldwide via freight and logistics companies
International shipments are quoted per order based on destination, size, and weight
Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance are the responsibility of the buyer
Please contact us for an international shipping quote before ordering

4. Lead Times


Lead times below refer to the time from deposit/payment confirmation until your order is ready for collection from our workshop. Any shipping or delivery time is additional and depends on your chosen delivery method and location.


In-stock items: 3–5 working days from payment confirmation
Manufactured items: 14–21 working days from deposit payment *(estimated)*
Custom orders: 30–40 working days from deposit payment and design approval *(estimated)*

Important: Lead times for manufactured and custom-manufactured items are estimates, not guarantees. Actual production time is subject to external factors beyond our control, including material availability, supplier delays, order volume, load shedding, and other operational factors. We will keep you informed of your order's progress and notify you of any significant changes to the expected completion date.


5. Delivery Process


You will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date and time
Someone must be present at the delivery address to receive and sign for the delivery — we do not leave products unattended
Please ensure the delivery area is accessible for our vehicle
For large inflatables, please ensure there is adequate space to unload

6. Missed Deliveries & Rescheduling


If you are not available on the agreed delivery date, we offer one free reschedule
Any subsequent reschedules will incur an additional delivery fee
If rescheduling occurs after our driver has already departed, you will be liable for the delivery fee as outlined in our Terms & Conditions

7. Delivery Inspection


Upon receiving your delivery:


Please inspect your product carefully before signing for receipt
Report any visible damage or defects to our driver immediately
If you discover damage after delivery, contact us within 48 hours as per our Returns & Refunds Policy

8. Risk & Liability


Our delivery: If we deliver using our own vehicle, we are responsible for any damage during transit
Third-party courier: If a third-party courier is used, Chameleon Inflatables is not liable for damage during transit — claims must be lodged with the courier
After delivery: Once the product has been delivered and accepted (signed for), we assume no further responsibility for its condition

9. Delivery Delays


We make every effort to meet estimated lead times. However, delays may occur due to:


High order volumes
Material supply issues
Force majeure events (extreme weather, load shedding, transport disruptions)

In the event of a significant delay, we will notify you and provide an updated timeline.
